The performing arts school
Now, we begin an exciting new term with lots of new classes on offer. Our New School year has begun and we have managed to increase our classes from 39 – 45  a week.

Emma Manes has raised the standard of RAD Ballet to vocational classes including Advanced Ballet.

New Adult classes for the over 50's run during the week in the mornings. Ciaran Bird's Play Reading and Drama (with coffee and biscuits) and Teena Symond's Balletcise (without coffee and biscuits) should appeal to those who wish to grow older gracefully with their brains revitalised!

Kym Giggins has introduced some fun classes for children along side her modern and tap grades i.e. Kid's Commercial Jazz and Teenagers Commecial Jazz. Her Adult Commercial Jazz  Group are set to entertain locally.

Kimberely Manser has introduced an additional pre- primary ballet class for 5 year olds, to ease the high demand.

Tom Dwyer, professional dancer from the west end, was introduced to our musical theatre classes last term, and taught the students extracts from current shows he has danced in such as Mary Poppins, Grease and Oliver, which they loved. It was a great honour to have someone of this calibre giving his time, energy and experience to the children. Tom has now introduced Classical Dance for Boys and his very popular Tomboogie.

Check the new time table for details.

We introduced a scholarship award this year which was won by Mollie Tucker with runners up – Chloe Willis, Alice Clements and Beth Allen. Each candidate prepared a song, a dance and an acting piece which they performed in front of a panel of six esspa teachers - a gruelling but rewarding experience!

Also intoduced as an annual event was the choreographic cup which was won by Jemima Bowler (solo) with runners up Lydia Burton and Poppy Osman (duo). This provided a very pleasing evening for parents and friends with a high standard of entries which were well thought out and rehearsed and pleasingly presented.  Congratulations to all who took part. The panel were very  impressed.
