The Wind in the Willows

As many of you know, our next show will be The Wind in the Willows. We are very happy to be staging this production during our 25th anniversary year, and so it seems fitting to be going back to the De La Warr Pavilion for this event.

The stage adaptaion has been created by George Stiles and Antony Drewe – the team who brought us Honk! and Peter Pan…. two of our favourite past productions. The book has been written by Julian Fellows (best known for creating Gosford Park and Downton Abbey) and is based on the well loved classic story by Kenneth Grahame.

After great response to the auditions, the main chracters have been cast and preperations are well underway. For an early taster of the show, keep an eye out for ESSPA students performing at the Bexhill Christmas Lights, and the Old Town Christmas weekend.

For those eager to get front row seats, tickets go on sale in December via the De La Warr box office. Branded t-shirts should also be with us before christmas and we be available at the ESSPA shop.
